Dr. Ludin (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical psychologist in California (PSY32172) with a longstanding commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating complex relational and identity-based concerns. She is now in full-time private practice, where she draws on extensive academic, clinical, and research experience to offer thoughtful, evidence-based care.

Prior to transitioning fully into private practice, Dr. Ludin spent over five years at the Stanford University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She began her tenure at Stanford as a postdoctoral fellow and rose through the academic ranks to serve as an Assistant Professor. During her time at Stanford, she provided clinical care and supervision through the Couples & Family Therapy Clinic, trained psychiatry residents, and conducted research at the intersection of relationships, identity, and mental health.

Dr. Ludin has developed expertise in working with a broad range of concerns including relational distress, trauma, sexual health, identity development, parenting, and life transitions. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches tailored to clients’ strengths, values, and goals. In couples therapy, she integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and structural approaches. Her work with individuals and families weaves together cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, attachment theory, and family systems to create a responsive and collaborative therapeutic process.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ludin’s research and teaching have focused on the links between relational and sexual health, emotional connectedness, and intimate partner and sexual violence. She is recognized as an expert in areas related to sexual risk and health behaviors, consent education, and trauma-informed mental health care.
